up24 is a personal project run by one person outside their employment. It is not a registered business (kein Gewerbe angemeldet), it has no VAT identification number, and nothing on this site is sold. If that changes, this page changes with it — in Germany a commercial activity is registered before it begins, not after.

There is no telephone number. § 5 DDG requires a means of rapid electronic contact and direct communication, which email satisfies; a number nobody answers would satisfy the wording and not the point of it. Disputes about a specific measurement have their own path and their own clock — see corrections.

Consumer dispute resolution / Verbraucherstreitbeilegung

I am neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle). The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform ceased operation on 20 July 2025.

Liability for content / Haftung für Inhalte

I am responsible for my own content on these pages under general law. That content is measurement: what up24's own probes observed of a public API, from named locations, over a stated window. It is not a statement about an exchange's internal systems, about whether an exchange is solvent or trustworthy, or about anything an exchange has said. Where up24 and an exchange's own status page disagree, both are shown and linked.

Nothing here is advice, and no availability figure is a guarantee. Measurements can be wrong — a probe fault reads exactly like a venue fault from the inside, and up24 has published both and corrected them. Anyone acting on these numbers should read how they are produced and what has been corrected first.

Under §§ 8 to 10 DDG I am not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to investigate circumstances indicating unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected; liability in that respect begins only from the point at which a specific infringement becomes known. On notice of such an infringement I will remove the content promptly.

Liability for links / Haftung für Links

This site links to exchanges' own status pages, notices and API documentation. Those pages are outside my control and their operators are always responsible for their content. They were checked for apparent legal violations when they were added to the registry. Permanent monitoring without concrete evidence of an infringement is not reasonable; on notice of one, the link will be removed promptly.

Trade marks / Marken

Exchange names and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used here to identify the API being measured — nominative use. up24 is independent of every venue it monitors, is not affiliated with any of them, and none of them sponsors, endorses or reviews what is published here.

Copyright / Urheberrecht

The pages and their arrangement are subject to German copyright law. The measurements themselves are meant to be used: the status API is public and free, and its data may be reproduced with attribution and a link back. Reproduction, adaptation and distribution of anything else beyond the limits of copyright require my written consent.
