Put it on your own page

One SVG per venue, coloured by the same four states the board uses. It depends on nothing — no stylesheet, no font file, no script — so it renders anywhere an <img> does, including the README renderers that strip everything else.

What it does when nobody is looking

Cached a minute, which is longer than the API and deliberate: a badge sits in pages nobody reloads, behind image proxies that cache on their own schedule anyway, and is read at a glance rather than during an incident.

It goes grey rather than green when up24 has stopped measuring — nobody is watching a badge to find out, so it must not be able to say “operational” on no evidence. That is rule 2 of this product applied to an image: absence of evidence is never operational.

Prefer a live figure to an image? Every venue has a page — the leaderboard links all of them — and the incident feed is Atom, if what you want is a notice rather than a number.
